Overview
Lust, greed, money, questionable morals and murder…audiences are in for a play that will make you feel you did something wrong just by watching…and laughing? It is a dark comedy, after all.
The play itself is told through monologues, allowing all three characters to connect directly with the audience. Each character weaves you into their story and it will have you questioning, who is the victim?

Vicki Trask, BroadwayWorld.comA departure from what I would come to expect from Theatre Calgary but I thoroughly enjoyed this departure. It was truly thought-provoking and one I would recommend to a specific audience...who are looking for a more serious night of reflection.
Iceland audience memberWow…Iceland will stagger you! Your brain will be jump-started like a winters morning battery. Yes, there are subject matters and language matters...A very bold and fantastically thought-provoking piece indeed. Art is cool.
Lori Montgomery, TheYYScene.comFunny, accessible, yet profoundly challenging with a powerful jolt of insight.
Iceland audience memberI enjoyed Iceland, it made the audience uncomfortable and made you think.
Louis B. Hobson, Calgary HeraldIceland has the potential to shock and unsettle but because Billon is such a skilled writer, he makes Iceland a vital piece of theatre.
Iceland audience memberI wasn't offended, but I can certainly see how your regular audience might be. But I think that people could use some offending these days; to be shaken from their/our complacency is well overdue if you ask me.
Iceland audience memberIceland was just really weird, out there...I still have not figured it out.
Stafford ArimaIceland puts a theatrical window up to capitalism, commenting on greed through satire. Nicolas Billon’s expertly written play brings humanity and humour to those characters struggling with the guiding systems of capitalism.
Toronto StarA detailed and cleverly written script performed and directed with real verve. This is an Iceland with lots of fire.
