Overview
7 year old Helen Keller lives in a dark and silent place – no light, no sound, just the touch of human hands and the textures and scents of the world around her. Loved by her family but left to find her own way in her dark, silent world. As she grows older her destructive behaviour may lead to an institution that would spell spiritual if not physical death.
Till Annie Sullivan arrives in her life. Young and inexperienced but strong and passionate in her beliefs, Annie knows she must succeed in reaching Helen, as she has been in that institution and for her brother it did spell death.
The Miracle Worker is a beautiful, uplifting tale of the strength of the human spirit.
