Foundation donors are essential partners in ensuring that Theatre Calgary continues to flourish. Foundation partnerships over the years provide essential funding to the many initiatives and programmes of Theatre Calgary, which serves Southern Alberta.
Theatre Calgary partners with different foundations, aligning with the interests, guidelines and missions of both organizations. Funding grants help Theatre Calgary grow and develop, ensuring our ongoing success. Areas of current foundation funding includes:
• Production support, bringing productions to the stage
• Student Education Series programme, deeping youths appreciation of professional theatre, at a reduced ticket price
• Pay-What-You-Can Matinees , giving opportunities for low-income earners to attend our theatre, making the productions accessible to everyone, regardless of their income
• Senior Saturday Matinees, allowing seniors to affordably attend our shows with reduced ticket prices, and more
