This sponsor type supports specific plays on our performance season, and also special events.
- ‘Cool Yule Sponsor’
This sponsor type supports the ‘Cool Yule’ project of A Christmas Carol, a program in conjunction with Kids Cancer Care Foundation. This private presentation is the only one of its kind in Calgary and provides families affected by childhood cancer with the opportunity to have the holiday experience that many of us take for granted.

This sponsor type of the Student Education Series supports exposing young people to the magic of live theatre at a discounted rate. Aligning your corporation with an education initiative allows both organizations to target a young demographic and provide greater value to the community.

This sponsor type of Seniors Saturdays supports exposing seniors to live theatre performances at a discounted rate. Aligning your corporation with a seniors initiative allows both organizations to target a seniors demographic and provide an opportunity for seniors to socialize and learn more about the process of live theatre.
- ‘Accessibility Sponsor, Pay-What-You-Can Matinees’
This sponsor type of Pay-What-You-Can Matinees supports providing opportunities for low-income earners to attend our performances, making the productions accessible to everyone, regardless of their income. Aligning your corporation with a pay-what-you-can initiative allows both organizations to target this particular demographic, and by attending a performance, provide an opportunity to help people build the necessary skills and confidence to be productive individuals in our communities.
- ‘Special Event Sponsor’
Each year, Theatre Calgary raises over $125,000 through special events with the proceeds supporting the season’s productions. The annual Night With The Stars gala is an evening that includes a live broadcast of the Academy Awards, a roving feast, and live and silent auctions. It is attended by many of the city's important corporate, cultural and social leaders. You can align your company with this event through sponsorship, supplying auction items, or buying a table at the event.
- ‘Digital Signage for Theatre Calgary Sponsor’
Theatre Calgary would like to improve our street presence in Calgary, and replace aging signage on the front of Max Bell Theatre. We are also interested in building new sponsor recognition signage indoors.
- ‘FUSE Sponsor’
This sponsor type supports Theatre Calgary’s new play development program. FUSE is dedicated to the development of new Calgarian and Canadian plays that have the potential to be produced on Theatre Calgary’s stage, with the ultimate goal of launching these works nationally and internationally.

This sponsor type supports the Theatre Calgary emerging artist program, which allows recently graduated theatre students a chance to work in a professional theatre setting as well as gain invaluable experience of the life of an actor.

This sponsor type supports Theatre Calgary’s ‘Dress Circle’ which is an exclusive donor community of support for the theatre, made up of the city’s most important corporate, cultural and social leaders.
- ‘Tasty Tuesday Catering Sponsor’
This sponsor type provides food on the eighth performance of each Theatre Calgary play, at Max Bell Theatre. This initiative exposes 300 Theatre Calgary subscribers to different restaurants or caterers in Calgary on these Tuesdays.

This sponsor type provides food on the first Friday performance of a show at Max Bell Theatre, as it’s Theatre Calgary’s Opening Night Gala.
